Now with the mount being integral to the receiver on the M-25 that will eliminate the heavy mount. And when I took the scope off and tried to use the irons with the mount installed on the receiver I didn’t like the sight picture it was like trying to look thru a tunnel and it just interfered with the sight picture that I was use to. Wile of excellent quality two things I did not like were the weight that it added to the gun.

Id buy the M25 with the built in scope mount if I was buying my first one. LRB does have some nice builds available with no wait on their website right now. Between the books out there and the M14forum, youll get tons of info. If you do decide to get an M1A/M14 clone, make sure you send it to. Before I bought my LRB (have a few) I also bought as many good books as I could find to study up. Wile I love the iron sights of the M-14 I think that it has a lot more potential with a scope. A lot of the GI surplus parts are starting to dry up but LRB and SEI are producing.
